We wouldn't normally run this as a separate story, but such has been the outpouring of emotion following Mark Toia's untimely death, we thought his funeral details should be as widely publicised as possible.
As you are no doubt aware, Mark Toia, Australian filmmaker, director, and photographer, founder of Zoom Film and Television, and all-round industry legend, sadly died earlier this week.
His daughter Brooke has just announced details of his funeral service on a dedicated Facebook event page, simply titled Mark Toia's Funeral.
It will be held on Friday, 3 November, at 01.00 UTC at The Sleeman Centre in the Brisbane suburb of Chandler. A livestream link will be provided closer to the event.

To all family, friends and colleagues of Mark Toia.
Carolyn, Brooke and Jordan would like to invite you to join us for Mark's Farewell Funeral service on the 3rd of November 2023 at The Sleeman Center Theatre, Old Cleveland Rd, Chandler.
We know Mark had a lot of friends and admirers so we found a venue big enough to fit you all.
